How my journey began
It all started unexpectedly—on a dance floor in a bar in Athens, Georgia. I was in college at the University of Georgia, soaking in the vibrant energy of nightlife, when I stumbled across a camera while my friend was DJing. I picked it up, asked around, but no one claimed it. So I brought it home.
Curious, I looked through the images and realized it belonged to someone, but in a spontaneous, probably-20-year-old moment, I hit delete. The camera became mine—but more than that, it became a doorway.
I began carrying it everywhere—capturing candid portraits of my friends as we got ready for nights out, at birthday parties, or in quiet in-between moments. I’d gift them those images, just because. Soon, I noticed something: people were using my photos as their profile pictures, tagging me, thanking me. That feeling—of creating something meaningful for others—lit something inside me. It gave me confidence, purpose, and joy.
From those humble beginnings, I followed the thread of photography through Atlanta, then to California. Along the way, I explored everything from weddings to real estate, product shoots, live events, newborns, family portraits, and headshots. Each phase brought new insight, new stories, and new growth.
Today, I focus on e-commerce photography and personal branding—blending storytelling with intentional visual strategy. Photography still gives me what it gave me back then: a way to connect, to celebrate, and to capture the essence of the moment.
